Elaine’s love for music didn’t end with family albums. The Brewster family performed for audiences across the U.S. and abroad, sharing their music widely. Elaine also extended her passion to teaching with the Utah Arts Council, where, for over two decades, she brought music and storytelling to life for students of all ages. Through creative residencies, she led young learners in developing original plays and performances, blending classical and folk traditions to make the arts accessible and inspiring in every community.
A Journey in Harmony: Choirs, Solos, and Ensembles
Throughout her career, Elaine Brewster has sung with esteemed choirs and music groups, beginning with a quartet as a young girl to being a first soprano in the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. Her experience includes singing with the BYU Bach Choir and as a founding member of the Mormon Youth Symphony and Chorus. Each choir and ensemble Elaine joined enriched her journey, deepening her dedication to vocal performance and harmony. These experiences laid the foundation for her musical legacy, inspiring her teaching and performances today.
